Sam barely survived the 70s and 80s as a nerd. “Nerd” became “geek” and geek FINALLY was cool! <cue heavenly choir>
He’s most often found in front of his computers, but does venture out occasionally (provided his iThings are fully charged). Deceptively ungeeky at times, he also is a physical fitness boot camp instructor. Yet, do not fear — he remains ever-true to his pocket-protected roots. Raised in a family with three small-town businesses, helping people is his passion and he is an advocate —nay, a champion— for excellence in customer service. He has three little furry things that live in his house and many little web things running around the interwebs.
He’ll do almost anything for crème brûlée and has sought it all over the world.
Doug escaped a decade and a half of working in the Corporate IT mines to become an artist.
Those creative pursuits have taken him along 13,000 miles of American backroads and highways in search of a good story and a portrait. On that journey he’s discovered that technology – when used for good instead of evil – can be a valuable tool whilst attempting alchemy among the digital and visual bits.
He is currently employed by a cadre of felines, but he insists that this does not make him crazy.
Neither were raised by wolves.
